My name is Rachel Carney. I’m a poet, freelance writer and creative writing tutor with a passion for literary events. I read a wide variety of genres, including historical fiction, literary fiction, crime fiction and plenty of poetry.

I’m currently completing a PhD at Cardiff University, researching the use of ekphrastic poetry as a tool for visitor engagement in museums.
