My Poetry Film at StAnza Poetry Festival and Upcoming Readings

My poetry film selected for the StAnza Poetry FestivalI’m delighted to have my poetry film ‘Fragments of Us’ selected as one of the films to be shown at the StAnza Poetry Festival this year! The film will be available to view online, and also in St Andrews, where it will be screened at the Byre Theatre, 13-15th March 2026.

I can only attend the festival online this year, but I’m seriously excited to know that my little film will be shown so many miles away from home. One day, I hope to make it to St Andrews to attend the festival in person.

Find out more about my film, which was commissioned by SHAPE Arts, here.

The full StAnza Poetry festival programme is available on their website.

I am also really pleased to be reading again at this year’s Aberystwyth Poetry Festival which takes place 8-10th May in the beautiful Welsh seaside town were I studied for my BA twenty years ago! The theme for their festival this year is ‘Interconnected’, focusing on how poetry connects with other forms of art, so I’ll be reading and talking about ekphrasis. My event will be on the Saturday – 9th May.

And here are some other upcoming readings:

  • Friday 20th March in Cardiff – I’ll be reading at Urban Wordsmiths, alongside Clare Potter, and other fabulous poets, with opportunities to take part in the open mic.
  • Wednesday 15th April – I’ll be reading at the Murenger in Newport, for their monthly open mic.
  • Friday 24th April – I’ll be reading in Bristol for the first time, at the Silver Street open mic.
